Combating violence
According to public government data, over 33% of people worldwide have experienced some form of violence. According to our research, this figure is over 50% of Europeans who have experienced violence. Therefore, effectively combating violence in practice is one of our highest priorities.
More about our work angainst violence:
The European Centre for International (ECI) operates based on a scientific method for effectively combating violence in practice, developed by Matthias Aleksander Günter in 2019 (Alexander's Ladder), which assumes that the perpetrator of violence is always responsible for every act of violence.
-2.63 billion people worldwide have experienced violence more than once.
-Half of children and adolescents report experiencing violence at school.
-1.6 million people die each year due to violence (these figures do not include wars and armed conflicts).
-Among people aged 15-44, violence (suicide, murder, and fatal assault) is the most common cause of death!
Therefore, ECI conducts numerous programs to effectively combat violence in practice.
In addition to diplomacy, we provide services for victims of violence, work with victims of violence, educate children and young people, as well as their teachers, and are one of the few organizations in the world that places such emphasis on working with perpetrators of violence (as the sole reason for the occurrence of violence).
